Position Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will manage our company's social media channels daily. The role will involve creating and implementing social media marketing campaigns, developing a content strategy, optimizing content for social media platforms, and writing engaging content to promote brand awareness and engagement with our audience located in Karachi. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to achieve brand objectives and goals.  
  • Manage and maintain social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.   
  • Create and curate engaging content, including text posts, images, videos, and interactive media, tailored to each platform and target audience.   
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, topics, and conversations relevant to the brand and industry, and participate in online discussions as appropriate.   
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers and customers promptly and professionally.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creators, and designers, to ensure alignment and consistency in brand messaging and visuals.  
  • Plan and schedule social media posts, campaigns, and promotions using social media management tools.  
  • Analyze social media performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates, and use insights to optimize strategies and tactics.  
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to inform strategy and content creation.  
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.   

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.   
  • Social Media Marketing and Communication skills.   
  • Experience in developing effective content strategies.   
  • Expertise in Social Media Optimization (SMO). 
  • Excellent writing skills.  
  • Ability to analyze social media data and use data-driven insights to improve campaigns. 
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.  
  • Experience in the technology industry would be an advantage.   

Nice to have

  • Graphic design skills and experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with video editing and production for social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content.
  • Understanding of influencer marketing and experience managing influencer partnerships.
  • Experience with crisis management and handling negative feedback or PR issues on social media.
