Senior Project Manager/ERP Consultant

Position Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Manager in Karachi. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of project management, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in driving project excellence, managing resources, and fostering strong client relationships. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and methodologies. 
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and effectively communicate project objectives, deliverables, and expectations to internal teams and stakeholders. 
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and key stakeholders, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and strategic priorities. 
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure project success. 
  • Manage project resources, including internal team members, external vendors, and subcontractors, and allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively to optimize productivity and performance.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights into project status, budget, and timeline.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.  
  • Conduct regular project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status meetings, and post-mortems, to review progress, address issues, and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.  
  • Foster strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, feedback, and escalations, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating leadership qualities, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions, and mentor and coach junior project management staff to build capacity and enhance team performance. 

Must Have

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.   
  • Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred. 
  • Experience in project management, expediting, and planning management. 
  • Ability to manage project timelines, resources, and budget. 
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in inspection, quality management, and process improvement.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify and manage project risks and issues. 

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization or managing remote teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile project management tools.
  • Experience with change management processes and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience in specific industry domains, such as technology, construction, healthcare, or finance.
