Position Overview
The Microsoft Power Apps Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions. The Power Apps Developer will leverage their expertise in Power Platform to streamline business processes, automate workflows, and create intuitive user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes.
- Design and develop custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including canvas and model-driven Power Apps.
- Build and configure connectors, data sources, and integrations to enable seamless data flow between systems.
- Develop workflows and automate business processes using Power Automate (formerly Flow).
- Design and create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize and analyze data.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Power Apps solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
- Provide training and support to end-users on using Power Apps and Power Platform solutions.
- Stay updated on new features and capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform and recommend best practices for implementation.
Must Have
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Power Apps Developer or similar role, with hands-on experience developing custom applications using Power Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Power Apps, including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and the Power Apps Common Data Service (CDS).
- Proficiency in Power Automate (Flow) for creating workflows and automating business processes.
- Experience building interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data connectors, and data integration techniques within Power Platform.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for extending Power Apps capabilities.
- Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams integration with Power Platform.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices for Power Platform solutions.
