Position Overview

This is a full-time role for a Managing Director. The Managing Director will oversee and lead the company's day-to-day operations and maintain its strategic direction. As a key member of the leadership team, the Managing Director will be responsible for collaborating with senior management to implement policies and streamline operations. This is an on-site role in Karachi. 


  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the organization, setting and executing long-term goals and objectives in alignment with the company's mission and vision.
  • Lead and manage the executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. 
  • Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. 
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ethical standards and corporate governance principles.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all areas of the organization, optimizing processes, and workflows to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and employee development, empowering teams to reach their full potential and contribute to organizational success.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the organization, representing its interests and values to internal and external stakeholders.          

Must Have

  • Master's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.   
  • Strong leadership skills, with at least 10 years of relevant management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, clients, and stakeholders.   
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective long-term strategies to grow the business, while managing risk and ensuring financial stability.   
  • Proven experience in leading and inspiring teams, while recognizing and developing emerging talent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to changes in the market and industry.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Prior experience in the technology or creative design industry would be beneficial.      

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a similar industry or sector, with a deep understanding of relevant market dynamics and challenges.
  • Previous experience serving on boards of directors or advisory boards.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices.
  • Experience leading organizational change initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, or major restructuring efforts.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential impact on the industry.
