Position Overview
The Project Manager will oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the organization. They will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget, and communicating progress to stakeholders. The Project Manager will play a key role in driving project success, managing risks, and fostering collaboration among team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
- Coordinate project activities, tasks, and dependencies across cross-functional teams.
- Assign responsibilities and tasks to team members and ensure accountability for deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and track key milestones, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
- Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders, including sponsors, executives, and team members.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather requirements, resolve issues, and make decisions.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
Must Have
- Proven experience as a project manager, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to navigate through challenges and make timely decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
- Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
