Position Overview
This is a full-time role for a Managing Director. The Managing Director will oversee and lead the company's day-to-day operations and maintain its strategic direction. As a key member of the leadership team, the Managing Director will be responsible for collaborating with senior management to implement policies and streamline operations. This is an on-site role in Karachi.
Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the organization, setting and executing long-term goals and objectives in alignment with the company's mission and vision.

Lead and manage the executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ethical standards and corporate governance principles.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all areas of the organization, optimizing processes, and workflows to enhance productivity and performance.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
- Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and employee development, empowering teams to reach their full potential and contribute to organizational success.

Act as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the organization, representing its interests and values to internal and external stakeholders.
Must Have

Master's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills, with at least 10 years of relevant management experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Proven ability to develop and implement effective long-term strategies to grow the business, while managing risk and ensuring financial stability.
- Proven experience in leading and inspiring teams, while recognizing and developing emerging talent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to changes in the market and industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.

Prior experience in the technology or creative design industry would be beneficial.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a similar industry or sector, with a deep understanding of relevant market dynamics and challenges.
- Previous experience serving on boards of directors or advisory boards.
- Knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices.
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, or major restructuring efforts.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential impact on the industry.
